Westfield Basketball Association is dedicated to developing youth player’s basketball skills while creating a fun and equitable environment that enables individual and team excellence The goals of the WBA are to: Promote education, high ethical standards, and good sportsmanship on and off the court. Increase self-confidence and self-esteem through skill acquisition Build an atmosphere in which parents, players, and coaches are responsible for each child's success Demonstrate that individuals can accomplish greatness through teamwork Encourage sportsmanship and provide an environment of support and encouragement for all who participate Develop character through self-awareness, teamwork, and sportsmanship in an enjoyable basketball environment Establish new friendships through the travel and competitive experience; and Create a program that elevates the level of play to prepare players for the Westfield high school basketball programs
